Name: Gary Eubanks aka Gabie Don
Born: April 1969
Died: March 1996, Age 26

Gary is my dad and died when I was just 5 years old, although i was young, I remember the day when
my mum came home from work and she told me what happened and I will never forget...

He left behind 4 older brothers, 4 known children (2 girls and 2 boys)

Gary was shot twice, one in the front of his forehead and the other to the chest, over an argument.

7 years for manslaughter, how can you justify going home to get a gun to only come back to kill
another human being... COWARD!

The killer is out their now, with a family of his own - no doubt. He can live out his dreams.

I am now 15 years old and wish I could pick up the phone or see him and let him know whats
happening. I will always remember my dad. RIP

Anyone reading this who knows 'Gabie Don', or would like to send me a message please feel
free to do so, I will read them, promise:-). I would be very happy to speak to those who knew him
and new him well.

Bless DE!

am sorry

Iam so sorry for your loss, my brother was murdered so so senselessy just in nov 2006, while he was out celebrating his friends b'day- he's 22 so i can understand what gary's family and friends went and are still going through. There are too many evil people in this world. 7 years for taking someone's life- that stinks and i pray we get life for my brother's killers (althoug nothing will ever be enough as he is not with us anymore) but it will be a little someting, currently there are 2 men in custody charged for his murder, so all we can do is hope that somesort of justice is done for him. As much as you miss your dad in your life remember he is in a wonderful peaceful place where those evil's will never ever get to and one day you will meet your dad again but until then he will guide and protect you as well as all his other loved ones....Gary RIPx

Sad

I am sorry you do not have your father to guide you through life. When will people realise life is not a movie, all this gun culture does not make someone a big man because they have a gun in their hand. The pain it causes to the families is terrible. Be strong and find the right way in life xx

a letter from heaven

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above

Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight

Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,

God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on

I need you here badly; you're part of my plan

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do

And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight

God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years

because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain

Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned

But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.

I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,

knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,

just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go

When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;

I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I feel your pain

Hi I was reading your message and it touched my heart, i too have lost someone but it was not by the hands of a gun, so i know this must be an incredible pain to have to deal with, all i can say is that God only takes the best and he has a plan, and if you live your life right and make your dad proud you will see him again. The letter that lady wrote called a letter from heaven is so beautiful, read it when you need and dont be afraid to cry. My love goes out to you and you mum.
Peace and love........
